Dr.
Manavi, the TCO assistant in biological sciences and, the secretary of the
Forum, recognized the trilogy of districted vision, share demanding and,
disarrangement as the catastrophe, threatening the national
deed of biotechnology and added, the people and the
government must believe that, the novel technologies will result in achieving
objectives such as; elevating the income level of the society, job creating,
currency saving and, extending the non-oil export values. He stated; this forum
has made those who are involved at this arena to have a look to the output of their

technologies.
The
feats of the Forum
There
were 37 technologies from
Iran
and, 6 technologies from;
Ukraine,
Korea,
China and,
India represented to the
secretariat of the Forum. Considering the time restriction of the forum and the
obligation for choosing the superior technologies, a committee formed,
comprising of the members of; the Biotechnology Association, Genetics
Association, Medical Biotechnology Network, Molecular Medical Network, The High
Council of Biotechnology, Technology Cooperation Office and, the Ministry of
Health, to select 4 out of the 43 represented technologies. In addition to take
the opportunity to be represented in the forum, the 4 selected technologies were
the candidates for the Biotechnology Award of the Year. These technologies,
which were granted with the first to fourth awards, respectively are;

The technology of production,
research and development of the composition of Human βa Interferon Protein for
the treatment of MS.
2-
The technology of making
Fermanture.
3-
The technology of producing the
human live skin, comprising of derma and epidermal layers, destructible and, on
a biological compatible basis
4-
Diagnostic Kit for the antibodies
of HIV I,II viruses, by chemo-luminance method
The
executors of the above-mentioned technologies emphasized on the points such as;
application, market, unique features, transferring method, licenses,
permissions and, other point that are important regarding transferring of
technologies. The other technologies represented at an exhibition place, where
was determined for this purpose.
The
technologies represented by the foreign centers were:
-
The technology of design and making Bio-reactor at commercial scales,
by Professor Yup from
Korea
-
The technology of producing Bio-enzymes, by Dr. Vig from
India
Regarding
the strategic aspect of bio-reactor and, the interest of
Karaj
Biotechnology

Center
for negotiating with the Korean researcher, the mentioned center recognized as
the particular addressed center for that technology. At this time, the
arrangements for two sides to negotiate, is being done by Iran National
Techmart. Also, Zakari Pharmaceutical Company of
Tabriz recognized as the special addressed
center for the Indian researcher. Following the made arrangements by Iran
National Techmart, the Indian researcher is going to visit
Iran by the
next month.
Subsequently,
a live video connection established to
Shanghai
Technology
Transferring
Center.
Firstly, they introduced their tenant companies and then, represented the
technologies. The technologies represented by the Chinese companies are:
